I’ve been on 150mg Vensir XL for at least 6 months, I’d guess longer.  Ive refrained from going higher but been often tempted. I hear lots of success on225mg and I feel like I’ve never reached that peace I need. It’s a difficult decision knowing how hard it is to come off this drug but I’m beginning to think it might be worth going that extra step before i decide to come of due to feeling it isn’t working... I’ve discussed it with doc and always end up leaving things as they are. On 150mg. I’m not feeling great. I never have I guess but perhaps 225mg could change things. I lately feel like I’m too inside myself if that makes any sense. I want to let go and stop this incessant fear and awkwardness. I’m waffling, but I understand you and think the reply above is correct.  Talk to doctor. It’s hard I know, they don’t want to make any decisions for you. I’ve waited and waited and I think I’m gonna ask to try it when I see mine Friday. What if it changed stuff for the better? Then again, for the worst?!

Thank you Tanya. I would love to be free from venlafaxine but a couple of years ago I started a reduction program GP approved over 12 months.  Well I failed ,,  I have been on venlafaxine for 18 yrs + I thought I would be ok but it wasn’t to be for me anyway :  thank you for your kind reply. God bless mike
