Increase from 50 to 75 and terrible Insomnia

Firstly im really sorry for being a complete Nuisance and hog of the site I think I just need your words of encouragement again !!!

Im only 7 days on new dose but the Insomnia has worsened I wake up after 3 hours every night and cant go back to sleep

I suppose what I want to.know is this normal and does it pass

    dont be sorry. thus process sucks. do you take zoloft am or pm. take it am. I took ut pm at first...worst insomnia . same as you. switched to am added 25mg trazodone before bed and a few weeks later problem resolved . also for me going from 50 to 75 did so much in only two weeks. best of luck to you

      Thank you so much Lorin for being a continuous great help to me your so right the process sucks ..I think im panicking as want to go back to work but the Insomnia is leaving me completely debilitated I just cant do it ..

      Im not giving up though i.ll carry on as only 7 days into increase

      Hi Faye Ive been on sertraline 9 weeks in total I spent 3 to 4 weeks on 25 then 4 at 50 ...ivebeen on 75 for nearly a week but this is the worse ive been with Insomnia x

      I take it about 11 a.m do you think ut would make a difference if I took it earlier Lorin ??

    Increases will bring on side effects, 7 days is too early to tell. Try taking it earlier and have a look at some guided meditation to put on when youre going to sleep. I use the calm apps sleep stories (need to subscribe)
