Hi,

I’m looking for some reassurance and advise. How long does it take for an increase in venlafaxine to work? I was on 225mgs 10 weeks and felt some improvements at 8 weeks but not enough so pysch increased it to 300mgs 3 weeks ago. I went backward not forwards, im feeling tired constantly and foggy head. Also no energy or motivation to do things. Just feel fed up and also have some muscle tension in my upper back as I’m worrying. I don’t know if I should go back to 225mgs or give this increase longer? What would you do? Any advise or help is welcome as I’m desperate to feel better xx

Hi Vicki yeah I felt so bad once I phoned the crisis team in despair I wasn't coping n was so scared it was coming back as bad as before. But I wasn't sleeping so I think that had a lot too do with it too. They told me too take a sleeping tablet I had them for emergencys because I really wasn't sleeping very much at all. I took one had a good sleep that night and felt better in the morning. I slowly just got a bit better each day and you will too. I know how hard it is I've been there as has the others here too talk too you anytime xxx
