Increase in Meds - ups and downs

HI, i have been on 20mg Citalopram for 9 years and this has been managing my anxiety really well. I had my Gall Bladder removed 9 wks ago and my anxiety returned in full force a week after my sugery. My GP increased my dose to 30 mg which i have been on now for 7 wks. My question is i am now suffering nausea, lack of appetite, anxiety and hot flushes & chills. i am off to Gp tomorrow to check if anything else going on as the nausea is pretty bad. How ling do i give it feeling crappy before i up dose further - which i am scared to do as that puts me at the limit of 40mg. Any advice would be appreciated!!! THANKS

    hi i just went back on cit after being off fir 2 years then but previously on it for 12 years 20 mg

    had stimach gastritis and ended up back on them. increased to 20mg

    first 2 weeks very hard with the sumptoms you are describing bit lessened now . not quite there yet but its not easy.

    still only at 2 weeks
