Increase side effects

I increased to 100mg on Wednesday and yesterday I felt nauseas. Today I feel more anxious, super emotional, depressed, and nauseas. Can someone tell me this is normal and will go away and I’m not going backwards? I was doing somewhat better..... Things were still difficult though in terms of anxiety. I just hate that I feel like I took a HUGE step backwards. Reassurance please!

It can take a week or so to even out in your system. Totally normal.

Hi Abby. I increased to 100 2 weeks ago and also felt awful for about a week. It'll pass after a few days so hang in there!

I increased almost 3 weeks ago and still have a little anxiety in the morning as well as nausea. It will pass and you WILL be ok.

I take .25mg of alprazalam and it helps me through the day. Are you taking anything to help get you by until it totally kicks in?

I have Xanax to help! Just feel like it makes me more depressed when I take it. Who knows at this point?! Lol Maybe I’ll try to take .25 instead of .5!

If I take a whole, I'm out of it and do feel slightly depressed because I can't function.

I can only deal with .25 and it does help! Takes about 15 minutes but then I feel the anxiety going away.

Thank you so much for the advice! I’m definitely gonna take it down to .25 and maybe my mood won’t be so low!
