I have been on 10mg of citalopram for a year and a half still was feeling on edge so 3 weeks and 3 days ago I increased to 15mg! I was feeling so good then two days ago I woke up feeling dizzy caused me to panic! Then last night I woke up feeling like my body was on fire layer there just praying felt panicky then a couple hours later I couldn't stop shivering! Is it normal to feel so good then just feel like crap?

I gather you have increased your medication as advised by your GP.

The dose you are taking is just 15mg from 10mg so it is not a full increase say to 20mg. It could be the medication although I feel it may be your Anxiety.

If your problems persist talk to your GP.  Personally I have not had the shivering or dizziness although as I say we are all different. You could read the leaflet in the box and see what it says although many of the problems are extremly rare

Make that appointment, if the problem goes you can cancel the appointment

      Are you eating correctly

Lifting or rising out of the seat or bed.

Sometimes it can be if you turn your head to quickly or bend when doing the housework.

      All can cause dizziness

Tell us how you get on

We eat right the only problem is we eat to much fruit its natural sugars help put the pounds on.

I stopped smoking in the late seventies, I smoked sixty a day then, When I stopped that was it the wieght piled on so I am nice and cuddly now so I have been told Lol

      Take it easy
