Increased citalopram from 30mg to 40mg last week and have had rotten upset stomach, feeling sick and awful headaches. Have struggled at me work all week, but can't be off as I have just gone back due to my bi polar.

How long will this continue?

When you mentioned being back at work, it made me realise that lots of people are at work and being treated for stress, anxiety, depression. It may suprise us to know just how many people in the office are on citlopram or other drug. Anyway, I upped from 20 to 30 after about a year of being on 20. It wasn't much bother, just the tiredness came back for a few weeks. In terms of feeling sick, yes I had that but it only lasted about a week. Us humans are so perseverant. Probably part of the problem in the first place, never knowing when to say no, or take that well needed break. Good luck at work.

My sister inlaw was in charge of a dept of a well known high st establishment ( No names). Approx 80 people worked in this dept and over half were on some form of meds from stress, anxiety and depression including herself
