Increased dose

Hello. I have just finished 3 weeks on 25mg and have now increased to 50, with taking my first tablet this morning. I am prepared for side effects again, however I was just wondering how soon these kick in and if they are as bad as when you initially start to take sertraline, as i have only had 1 tablet so far and feel really nauseous again and my intrusive thoughts are rearing their ugly head more frequently again, when they were in fact getting less frequent. Should this be happening quite so soon after the increase? Thank you and much love to you all

OK thanks. Comfortably numb as the song went. Sort of detached feeling. Have decided that my head is almost OK most of the time but the rest of the body needs a good deal of sorting outrolleyes

Off to see Doc tomorrow morning for progress report.

That's the 'circle' of thinking that must be broken........easy to say and not so easy to do of course.

That's very true Philip. I seem to have this inner battle in my head. I have done CBT in the past. So I try to combat the negative with the positive. I was doing great and it's certain things that trigger my anxiety off again. Like family arguments. I need to become strong again x

yes, that's how it is for me and of course all I do is avoid, avoid, avoid. Typical behaviour this avoidance and so bl##dy restricting and so hard to break out from. Agoraphobiaas well of course. So many folk suffer with that.

Aww Kathryn it's awful going through this. Just keep reminding yourself that you're a good person and it's the anxiety not you x
