Increased dose

Hi Kells, I have been suffering from a very tough depression and SERT is my 3rd med so I can't wait forever to feel better. Hopefully things improve soon.

My mood didn't lift on 50&100, so hopefully 150 will help.

i had been taking paxil since I was 14 years old and Adderall and I'm 40 now and those meds just weren't working for me anymore plus i also have severe insomina and panic disorder so I've been taking clonazepam 0.5 four times a day since i was 14 as well. so i went to see my psychiatrist in November to discuss with her simply that my paxil and my Adderall weren't working for me anymore because I've been on them for so long and I didn't want to to increase them i wanted to change them both completely kind of like having a fresh start. so she prescribed me Zoloft 50 mg in the morning and Vyvanse 40 mg in the morning. so i slowly tappered off my paxil exactly the way she told me that i was supposed to do and exactly the same way that the pharmacist told me to do as well and that went very well and smoothly. so then i felt like my Vyvanse dose of 40 mg wasn't lasting longer enough so i went back to see my psychiatrist on December 4 and she added 20 mg of Vyvanse to take at noon or 1 pm and she thought it might be a good idea to increase my Zoloft to 75 mg from 50 mg since i still seemed to be having issues with my anxiety so i i thought I'd give it a try because i know that slot of antidepressant are used to treat both depression and anxiety and she added a mood stabilizer take at night because it has a sedative effect and Will help decrease my anxiety and in the beginning it absolutely did and the mood stabilizer I'm on is actually prescribed for people who are binge eater's to curb their appetite so it's completely taken away my appetite and so has the Zoloft and obviously any add meds make you lose your appetite but I'm not a big eater to begin with so that's not what appealed to me, it was more of that it would help decrease my anxiety and help me sleep so i would not have to take three different sleeping pills every night like i have been for 20 years. so afte two weeks of being on the 75 mg of Zoloft i started getting migraines every single day last week at exactly noon every day starting last Monday and i thought maybe i was getting a sinus infection or it was the dryness in my place from the furnace so i bought a humidifier for my living room and i went out and bought Saline nasal rinse and spray and eye drops because my eyes felt dry. and i ordered a a gel.eye mask that can be put in the freezer or microwave and it just got delivered today plus my husband bought me one from shoppers and i have two different magic bags and peppermint oil and tea tree oil for my Temple's and wrists and behind my neck none of this stuff was taking away my migraines at all not even laying in complete darkness in complete silence nothing so i got so fed up with this crap i finally called my pharmacy this past Friday evening and explained to her the symptoms I've been having all week and only been since my Zoloft was increased from 50 mg to 75 mg and then she looked my file up on the computer and asked me if I've been taking my Zoloft and Vyvanse together in the morning and of course i said yes because that's what i was told to do and when i got my prescription filled for these two medications the pharmacist didn't go over any specific instructions about not being able to take these two medications together in the morning. so she told me that these two medications have a severe Drug interaction with each other and that i have to stop taking my Zoloft in the morning with my Vyvanse because what I'm experiencing was the beginning of seritonin syndrome last week with the migraine every day and the agitation and sweating and increased anxiety so this week I've had to take my Vyvanse first thing in the morning and wait at least 5.5-6 hours before taking my Zoloft which completely defeats the purpose of taking an antidepressant that's supposed to help with anxiety and depression if i have to take it that late in the day and then i have a hard time getting to sleep because i take it between 1:30-2pm in the afternoon and it keeps me awake so now I'm back to taking my three sleeping pills every night and back to taking mt regular four Clonazepam every day. when i first started taking the 50 mg of Zoloft with the mood stabilizer and my Vyvanse I felt really good. now I'm crying all the time, I'm numb, i have no libido, my anxiety is through the roof , my headaches are back again like right now, I just feel absolutely horrible. i just don't know if this is the right medication for me and I've been on Vyvanse before while i was taking paxil and never had any kind of interaction with it. I'm beyond frustrated, i have no motivation to do anything, and i just started my group therapy last week and i couldn't make it today because I'm getting those brain zaps which is what you would normally get coming off of one antidepressant and starting on another one but i tappered off my paxil in the middle of November while starting 25 mg of Zoloft and then gradually increase to 50 mg of Zoloft and that's where i felt good st. noe at 75 mg i just feel completely not myself and I'm seeing my psychiatrist tomorrow morning i told her secretary that my psychiatrist is the one who put me on these medications and she's not leaving for Christmas vacation this week until she meets with me this week to get all of my meds fixed because I'm not going to feel like this during Christmas break with My daughter and husband the rest of my family. she has a duty to deal with patients she's just started on new meds before she leaves for her month long vacation because I'm not going to the hospital and speaking with with a psychiatrist who doesn't know anything about me. so I'll be at her office tomorrow morning. has any other females Lost their sex drive while taking an antidepressant? because I've never had this happen before while i was on paxil and other antidepressant until Zoloft it literally took my sex drive and stomped on it because up until November 16 i was in my prime so now I'm depressed about that now m i think this is the worst antidepressant I've ever been on. and i don't know why I'm still getting these damn headaches even after i started taking my Zoloft 6 hours after my Vyvanse and i don't understand why I'm getting brain zaps. anyone else relate

omg started on 50 mg of Zoloft in November and I felt pretty good and then my psychiatrist thought it might be a good idea to increase it to 75 mg each day because apparently it's supposed to help with anxiety as well and i have severe anxiety and I've been taking the 75 mg of Zoloft and i feel absolutely horrible. I'm going to see my psychiatrist tomorrow morning because I'm getting panic attack and my anxiety is through the roof right now and I'm sweating and I'm agitated and i have completely lost my libido which has never happened before and I've been taking antidepressants since I was 14 and I'm 40 now. and I'm getting migraine every day after i take it and I'm irritated with everything and everyone for no reason like i have pms 24/7 but i Haven't had my period in years because i had a hysterectomy a few years ago, so up until I was started on Zoloft iwas in my sexual prime so that's just one more thing to be irritated and depressed about I can't imagine being on a higher dose than 75 mg i want off of this medication completely and switch to something else. i know everyone is wired differently so for some people it works amazing and for some people it just doesn't. I'm just having too many negative side effects that are impacting my day to day life.. i think I'm going to ti start doing some research about CBD oil for depression and anxiety and insomnia and add. ...
