increased dose to 100mg sertraline.

Hi All,

Just looking for a bit of reassurance if possible? I have been on sertraline since October 2019 initially at a 50mg dose. I felt some really good weeks but about week 10-11 anxiety became worse so was increased to 100mg. I have now been taking this dose for around 3 weeks, first week was bad as expected but weeks 2 and 3 were really good. Currently though i'm on day 3 of feeling 'off' again. As I do have periods of good weeks shall i hang it out or is the fact i have had blips this week cause to increase again? Just getting through a bad cold as well so am sure that this is not helping. Thanks in advance everyone.

I'm in the same situation as you Declan. Been on 100mg for five weeks and was on 50mg for 3 weeks before that. Not much progress yet. Anxiety still worse than before the medication. Keep us posted with how you get on. Cheers, Ed
