increased heart rate and back pain after 4 days from fluoxetine

Anyone else experience rapid heart rate, back pain and breathlessness after starting and stopping Fluoxetine?

I am a 33 yr old male w a normal heart rate of 65-75 sitting and at most 92 when standing/walking.

i was prescribed Prozac and on it for four days before my psychiatrist took me off it because I started having my heart rate get up to 110-120 when simply standing or walking across the room, having breathlessness, pain in my chest, left arm and jaw. I went to the ER for the above and blood work showed no signs of a heart attack or any heart damage.

here's the issue - I've been off Prozac for 4-5 days and I'm still having my heart rate constantly high (110-120) when standing or walking across the room. I'm also still having some tremors. I'm also waking up every morning now with my heart rate temporarily shooting up to as high as 130. And i am still experiencing back pain and breathlessness

is it normal for Prozac to stay in your system for this long and have side effects even after taking it for a short duration?

I've never had heart rate issues like this before. Anyone experience the same?
