I'd been on sertraline 100mgs for quite a while. .Then doc increased them to 150mgs as I was feeling low. . He said I'd have no side effects with the increase. . But I do. .feel I'm back to square one. . Anyone else have any side effects with an increase. .thanks in advance

I have no idea why your doctor said that 50g is a big increase and you will have side affects, I went from 100 to 125 for 3 months and had side affects, I then dropped back to 100, see how you feel with the 125 which may help with the side affects but if you then feel like you need a higher dose in say 4 weeks you can up to 150... that’s what I would do but we are all different ... x

The side affects will subside unless of course the dose is too high for you which is why it maybe good for you to go up in increments of 25 xx

Not sure if your Dr knows a lot about Sertraline, 50mg is a big increase and you will have side effects from that, the only difference is they should not last a long or be as bad as when you first started the medication. Good luck
