Increased sertraline

Hello ,

As I've already mentioned ,I've upped my sertraline from 150mg to 200 mg . It's been nearly 2 weeks and I'm still getting really bad anxiety ,nearly all day . Is this normal ? Shouldnt i see improvement ?

I've upped meds before and I don't recall feeling this anxious. How long should I leave it ?

JohnThanks

Hi. some weeks ago I upped from 100 to 150 & all the side effects kicked in, anxiety worse than ever, but now 12 weeks later I feel oh so much better. So I think it takes a while for it to settle in your system. after 4 weeks everyday I saw a little improvement, hopefully I will not dishearten you, but it does take a number of weeks.

the other thing that caught my eye from your post, isint it funny when we feel better how quickly we forget how rotten we felt when we first took these tablets & again when level upped... hopefully you are at that point again soon as. take care..

Hi, how long have you been on Sert altogether and how long on 150? Are you on it for depression? It's my day 8 on 200 and so far this increase has been the least troublesome but don't want to speak too early. When I upped to 100 and 150 I always had worse depression in week 2&3 after upping and anxiety 24/7. If not depression I would not last that long on SERT..... I think we need to give it time now...Hopefully we can see more improvements after 3 weeks on 200! x
