Increased to 20mg of Celexa and getting fast heart rate

Hi everyone, I've been taking 10 mg of celexa for 1-2 years now with great success, recently have had some setbacks and was recommended to try upping to 20 mg at the highest. I started with 15 for 1 week and then went to 20 after that. Immediately that night I woke up twice with a fast heart rate and hands and feet were sweating, I know it was the celexa because I take it at night and this happened a few hours afterwards.
I took it again the next night with an ativan 0.5 mg and it didn't happen that night, and then last night, my 3rd night of taking it, but without the ativan, it happened again. My heart was at around 125-130bpm for a few minutes, with no other symptoms and no pain. Then it settled down but it was still higher all night as I was trying to sleep, around 85-90bpm. Which for me is higher than normal.
I honestly dont want to take 20mg anymore because I know celexa can be bad for your heart. So I'm going to go back to 15mg again and see what happens, has anyone had this happen? It just scares me. For reference I'm 21, female, healthy weight, no caffiene or sugar, no alchohol, no smoking and I take no other medications or drugs other than celexa.
Thank you so much for any reassurance or experience on this!

everytime you increase you will get side effects unfortunately. increased heart rate is one if them. 20mg is the lowest therapeutic dose and does not cause heart issues unless it is more that 40mg. you might experience even more side effects for about 4 weeks or so give the dose time to settle it might take time. I was bed ridden when I started cit both times for few weeks unfortunately I am one of those people who has really bad side effects. everyone is different. if you can manage the side effects of 20mg just stay on it. increased heart rate is very normal take beta blocker from doctors till it settles.
