Increasing 50 mg 75mg side affects

Hi everybody,

Can somebody give me advice on how they felt when they had to increase there Sertraline .

My GP said 50 mg wasn’t working for me that’s why I was still feeling depressed and Axiours.

He wanted to increase it from 50 mg to a100mg,

However, I said I would try 75mg first to see how I felt

Anybody whose increased there dose please let me know how you felt.

I’m very frightened to increase it.

You will get side effects but they will go away, trust me. Nausea, lack of appetite, etc. Some people don't get the side effects but I did.

Yes I went up to 75 and felt great.  But I do feel I need to go up to 100 now that it’s been a month.

    You’ll feel much better.

Hi blondey.  You will feel the same symptoms as when you started it to be honest.   It might take a week or two to settle down.   I’m just past a week having increased 25 to 50 and I’m still feeling crap.   Don’t be scared, just go for it.  It can’t be worse than what you are already coping with.   X

My dosage was increased to 75mg a month ago. The first 2 days I felt exactly like starting with sertraline, other 3 days the side effects were milder. And in a week I felt very good.
