Hi, I am sure you have a doc so just follow the doc's instuctions. Usually when you increase your dosage you tend to experience a bit more anxiety generally speaking and a bit more side effects before it gets better, but hang in there and give it some time to work. But having said that, everybody is different so maybe it won't happen with you. Take care.

Thanks for the advice my friend. All in all it has been up and down with Zoloft so far though my family says I seem to be better. Lots of stomach pains, constipation, a few panic attacks etc. I feel reassured by this forum as I am not alone.

I am a faith filled person and trust in God that all of this is necessary. I just found out I have a baby on the way so am so grateful!

      Thanks again,

Congrats on the baby! Please share with your psychiatrist that you are pregnant so he can monitor your dosage along with your pregnancy.

Yeah, I had been on and off Zoloft for 2 decades so I know all about its side effects but that doesn't make experiencing them any easier. Currently back on 100mg.

Luckily I am the dad! No need to worry about dosage.

      Thanks for the advice!

True. Aha - that's why I have always wished I were born a male. A bit joking aside, I've learned that good or bad events both are considered stressors in life, and as you know, stressors are triggers for more flare ups of anxiety and OCD and panic attacks.  And I would consider having a baby a good stressor but a stressor nonetheless. A month ago, I was flying high, helping my sister, 25mg, feel like I could take on the world, but then fell down the deep rabbit hole about 2 weeks ago, back on 100mg. God's way of humbling me, this is the thorn in my side, and I would gladly have God take me home peacefully in my sleep cuz I had been living with this for all my life and am much too tired...I am early 40s now, but since I still wake up every morning, I figured His convicting me now to share whatever little I know if it could help someone else and ease their suffering, even if only for a brief moment. Please go get an Anxiety book. God bless us.
