Increasing pred dose- how long do you allow for it to have the desired affect?

Just as the title says really. If you increase your pred dose a bit to deal with a flare - roughly how long would you stay on that dose before you can reasonably assess whether the new dose is working , or whether a further increase is in order?

Would be grateful for your experiences and opinions.

green tea, we are all different, last little flare add 5 mg immediately felt better in three days. The flare before first increase 3 mg, second increase 5 mg, third increase 5 mg, fourth increase 10 mg. But by the time of fourth increase I could no longer walk. So from now on I jump on the increase quickly, if no improvement, I will increase quickly. How much to take, what ever is necessary. Try to stay ahead of the inflammation, do not let the inflammation get ahead of you.

Think positive and try to smile.🙂

Thanks Michdonn- so when you say you jump on the increase quickly - do you mean you still give it a few days to see an improvement?
