Increasing to 100mg - help!

Hi guys,

Looking for advice -- my doc has upped my dosage to 100mg from 50mg. She said that 75 was pointless especially for anxiety (i have bad GAD and some depression).

Im worried about going up to 100mg. Will it be tough like the start?

I had to go to 75 from 50 then to 100.  I’m just very sensitive to meds so I have to go slow.

You may do just fine.  You may have a few side effects but they won’t last long.

    Let us know.

I’m sensitive to medication also! Bit the bullet last night and took the 100 so let’s see how it goes :-)

My doctor recommended the same for me almost 5 weeks ago. I was wary so I split a couple of my 50s and did 75 for one week and then moved to 100. 100 has been quite a positive change for me. I have some social anxiety along with panic disorder and mild depression. The 100 mg dose has taken the anxiety down quite a bit and when anxious or stressed moments happen I'm able to overcome them quicker. I only had minimal gastro side effects when I moved up, much more mild than when I originally started on the 50s back in March.

It sounds like we’re both quite similiar in our ‘symptoms’. Generally hyper alert in social situations, get very panicky too when faced with anything stressful and can get quite down some days.

The 50 has done alot for me but took the 100 last night so will see how things go. Dont feel too bad today but woke up last night itching like crazy all over my body. Strange!
