Increasing Zoloft after 10 years

hi everybody, I have been on Zoloft hundred milligrams for about 10 years. I’ve done very well lately I had a lot of stressful events in my life and my doctor suggested bumping it up 50 mg. She said if that doesn’t do the trick we can go to 200 but she doesn’t want to change it since it’s work so well. My question is how long does it take for the increase to kick in? A little about my anxiety I have health anxiety I always think something is wrong and I go right to the Internet to look it up. While being on Zoloft that has calm down tremendously and giving me my life back now I feel stuck just waiting to feel like myself again.

just try to take one day at a time and before you know it the higher dosage will have kicked in. Try to keep yourself busy would be my advice.

everybody’s different as to when you will feel the effects. Some people it only takes a week or so and others several weeks. You will know once it happens. Wishing you the best
