Indecisiveness and anxiety

Does anyone experience indecisiveness through the day, for example thinking of eating something then while u take it thinking that u shouldnt eat it, then let it go. or starting to go somewhere then just changing route and deciding to go somewhere else. it happens with everyday things, like I change my mind very often and fast.
is this because of the anxiety?

yes. Indecisiveness often goes along with anxiety. That’s because with anxiety we tend to overthink things. Practice making a decision and sticking with it. Even if it was the wrong decision that’s OK. You can always alter your plans. Just try not to change your mind a lot in the middle of doing things. It will make you feel more grounded.

Hi,
When I am feeling bad with anxiety (head pressure / brain fog / dizziness) my indecisiveness can be crazy, overthinking things which in reality are completely trivial. Example, I like to use the gym sometimes after work to relieve my tension headache - I will jump onto a treadmill start jogging and then think 'I have picked the wrong piece of equipment, I should have moved near the window so I can see outside - now my whole routine is a waste of time' - completely illogical but the mind has trouble shutting off !

yeah that's the same with me.. I start to do one thing then I think that I shouldnt do it and turn back, then I end up doing it.. its like my mind plays ping pong with itself
