Indigestion

Hi all. So I know your digestion slows down in perimenopause, but this is ridiculous! Third cycle now, a week before my period and I am losing sleep because my stomach hurts so bad when I lay down. Anyone else have this problem? It feels like if could be my gallbladder, but I don't have any other symptoms. It feels like really bad gas and that I'm really plugged up.

Yes I have bad stomach issues comes and goes but seems to linger when it acts up it's actually been acting up for a few weeks again just ended cycle and seems symptoms just gets worse period or no period neverending.

Tahoe a half of glass of water and a half tea spoon of baking soda.
It will make you burp, run you to the bathroom.
Then you'll be fine.

I wished baking soda did that for me but it does the opposite, makes me bloat and constipated.😞

Yes I have had this in the past. I was told to drink a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and it actually helped. I have one more episode of it a few weeks ago and remembered the vinegar trick..it helped once again. This peri menopause is no fun ride, but i'm so glad for this forum! It can be really helpful
