Infection 3 weeks after total hip replacement

Hello

I have just come out of hospital after 4 weeks as my hip became infected. I am on IV antibiotics still district nurse comes to administer dayly via a pitt line, feel very tired and cold after it has been administered. It was 3 weeks after surgery that the infection became obvious they went back in cleaned washed and replaced some parts so now I have a hip that is one part 8 weeks old and other part 4 weeks old Anyone else had this level of infection??
