Infection in sinuses maybe? Had cautery done 3 days ago

I had my nose cauterised on Monday, not for the first time, had all the dripping blood and clear fluid in the evening. 

The next day the inside of my nostril was very inflamed and congested and still is, I have lots of thick green gunk coming out the right side only (cautery side) and I do feel pressure not pain up by my eye. 

I have been blowing my nose (bad I know) to clear the gunk which does make the cautery site bleed a little bit each time. 

Does this sound normal or like a sinus infection? Should I leave it to run its course of is the cautery site at more risk of developing a secondary infection?
