Inflamed esophagus

Hi,

It’s been 4-5 days that I have been facing with inflammation in my esophagus. I feel a slight burning in the food pipe ( middle of the chest) as I by mistakenly had hot water.

I am currently taking medicines along with Esoxx. 

Could someone tell me how long it takes to heal the inflammation in esophagus? Please note that I no longer have acid reflux. The inflammation is due to Acid reflux that I had and is not there anymore.

    Your lucky I'm still goin thru hell... I have no idea how long it will stop but if it doesn't stop soon you should get checked out I've read that if you had an hiatal hernia surgery it can possibly still come back but hopefully it doesn't but I wish you the best of luck and get well soon.

    I think will take weeks to heal completely don't eat spicy  foods or hot foods and drinks , even cold drinks and food could irritate it eat soft foods and eat slowly
