Inflixmab treatment

Hi, I have been on the treatment since August of this year. I have had side affects month after 3rd infusion for crohns flare up. High blood pressure and how a chest infection so I couldn't have my 4th infusion recently.

    Same as me. Had 3 infusions and was feeling good for the first time in  year. Then I the 4th infusion I had a reaction - tight chest, increased temperature and low blood pressure. Tests show positive antibodies to infliximab. Hoping to start Humira/adulimimab in next couple of weeks but docs say there could be a chance I'll have similar antibodies.

      i have been treated for 5 years with something called polymyalgia .pain in legs and shoulders .after a heart attack been on all sorts of nasty meds.they say inflamatory bowel .maybe crohns ,i dont have any bowel prob,can you tell me if you get pain in shoulders and legs ,thanks

      Hi, thanks for replying to my discussion.  My immune system is low, so more likely I will get infections. I was on Humria Pen Injections but didn't do anything for my flare up.  The infusion treatment is helping hopefully the flare up will get under control.

    I am grateful to be on rituximab for almost 6 years...1000 mg, two weeks later a second 1000 mg pause four months and repeat.

    Sad it does not work for you...hugs
