I have been on sertraline for almost 2 years and have found it mentally and physically draining.I am 8 days into cold turkey from this drug and was wondering if anyone else has tried thie proces of withdrawal. How does cold turkey compare to gradual withdrawal?

DEFO withdrawal symptoms, dizziness, headaches etc but these seem similar to others who have gradually withdrawn.Think the drug takes such a hold that you become unsure what is you and what is the drug.Going to perservere and see what happens

Exactly, that is exactly what I think. I ain't going back to them now I just going to persevere. My doc did say previous even after stopping tabs can still carry on with side effects 2 or 3 month later

Read the link:  does sertraline withdrawl ever go away on this site.  I've been off 14 months and still have nausea, tummy cramps most mornings with loose bowels.  I also cannot drink more than one cup of coffee or I get anxiety, this also applies to wine!   These are symtoms I never had pre sertraline!   Coming off these drugs has not been an easy journey for many of us on this site.

I wish you well on your journey, it does get better, but seems for some of us it takes a good while!
