    Hey brindle

Do you mean at the same time? I have had both hips done 8 weeks apart.

Hi Lors. Yes I do mean both hips at the same time. I was wondering if anyone else had had this done?

as i said, i had mine done 10 months apart and 2 different procedures.  The right posterior and the left anterior and by 2 different surgeons.  If I had to do it over again I would do both at the same time, anterior procedure (from the front).  just a piece of info that may be of interest to you, I don't know if you're waiting or if you're done with the surgery already.  Good luck..

I had both done 10 months apart. Maybe recovery is a bit different if you do right and left at the same time.  Be more careful moving around.

warm welcome to the best hippies forum around -

there are a couple of members here who had or are about to have biliteral hip replacement surgery -

hopefully they will respond or otherwise use the search thing -

I also had 2 THR surgeries within 6 months so not able to answer your question -

where are you in this journey? do you have a surgery date ?

we love to hear from you - you are not alone anymore ...

Aww well l have not at exact same time but 8 weeks apart is not long and tbh l was ready to have the 2nd done 4 weeks after 1st one. If l could go back and choose now l would get them done at same time as it would make the recovery time faster. Now l have to get my knees replaced my 1st is a week on tuesday.

But l think getting both done will be hard work but you can do it

    Good luck x
