If you go to the top of a discussion there is a bit to click to follow the discussion - you then get a notification to your email when someone posts. I get notifications of a new discussion being started in any forums I have registered with at any time then once I have been there and joined in I get the notifications for any further posts. I think there are settings on your profile to trigger such notifications but I can't remember.

There isn't a central place with past info on this forum but the PMR/GCA forum at the forumup host has sections with old posts that were felt to be helpful as well as sections with various info in them.

Yes, I do repeat myself - some would say ad nauseum - but even on the other forum where the info is relatively easy to find the same questions come up over and over again as new people join. There doesn't seem to be an easy answer.

Right - just had a look.

Go to the very top of the page and next to "Sign out" is "My Account". If you go there you can go to email notifications - tick everything you want and you will get an email about it. There is also one for a weekly summary.

Hope this gives you what you need!

I'm just another patient just like you - albeit one with a lifetime working in medical science before getting PMR. The site team can answer technical stuff far better than me, even when I go to look how to do something it often defeats me since they revamped the site! It's all about all of us sharing what we have found and my background allows me to identify good and bad information from all sorts of sources so I pass it on to save you having to find and read it.
