I'm a nailbiter and I think I got an ingrown fingernail. There's pus and redness and somewhat painful. If I have to go to a dermatoligst to get part of this nail removed, will he use novacaine?

ask your doc to numb the area. my doc used lidocaine injection to numb the area.
