Ingrown hair? Boil? Cyst? Herpes? Pics below

I dont know what this is, when i touch it, it feels like a firm/hard lump under the skin. Like a pocket. It never itched but, it is a little bit tender. Water doesnt bother it. I did mess with it a couple days ago causing the skin to break a little. I know, i should leave it alone.

i do recall having something similar in that same area a while ago but, within the past year or two. can you see there seems to be an opening? i am able to put a needle or something in that hole without disturbing the skin, ts like a piercing or something.

I got a pap done 2 weeks ago but, this wasnt bothering me at that time so, i didnt mention it.

I do have a new partner as of about a month and a half ago.

i do wax, sometimes, but rarely, shave as a touch up in between full waxes.

is herpes soft or hard to the touch? is it more on the surface or under the skin?

what about syphilis?

i am going to the doctor on wednesday but, i cant help but wonder. i want opinions 😦

    its located in the top part of the vulva inside the labia majora...to the left of the clitoris

    Herpes sores are usually flat open sores like a mouth ulcer and then they scab over as they heal.

    I've never noticed any hard lumps with any of mine and they are always very painful.

    Looking at the photos it could be herpes but then it could be anything. Only a swab will tell for sure so it's good that you're going to the doctors.

      i did forget to mention that its been like this for about a week and a half. pretty much right after my pap smear was done (handy timing, huh)

      but yeah, i cant remember the other time it happened, if i sqeezed something out of it or not. it was a while ago. i almost feel like i did though.

      To be honest from my experience I'd say if you have herpes you would certainly know about it, especially the first outbreak it was agony.

      Maybe the skin split a bit during your smear. Let us know how you get on
