Ingrown hairs / pimples or herpes??

Hello,

I've always been prone to getting ingrown hairs in this area but perhaps it's because I had unprotected sex about a month ago that I've been extremely paranoid. It was a one time thing and a week later we continued to have sex but with a condom. What's odd is that after we had sex with a condom my genital area was really itchy but went away after 48 hours. I personally believe its because I wasn't "wet" and the sex

was pretty rough meaning the rubber from the condom may have caused friction. Aside from that, there's been a persistent zit in the inner thigh area (pictured below) That popped once and when pee would touch it. it healed and popped again when i went to a wax appointment (blood even came out) .

After looking at pictures of herpes, rationally I know mine does not really look like it, but I'm still paranoid. I should be getting tested soon but I'm looking for reassurance and personal experience. Note, this does not itch and doesn't burn when i pee anymore.

Update: Went to the doctor's and right away he said I had nothing to be worried about 😃 Said it's most likely just an ingrown but that if it gets bigger to contact him. He also said my symptoms didn't really match and that he didn't recommend getting a blood test only because false positives are more likely. I think he was looking for more clustered blisters in my vaginal/labia area and more severe symptoms like pelvic pain and muscle aches which I did not have.

I'm now just trying not to touch it and going to invest more in waxing and lower area creams/exfoliators.
