Inguinal ligament

Hello,

Been having trouble with left testicle pain, left abdominal pain and left upper leg pain. Now my inguinal is sore to stroke and its hurting more and more to bend over on my left hand side.

My left inguinal is sore to stroke but not to poke.

Could this be a sign of an underlying hernia?

At the minute i have been told it could be chronic prostratitus but the antibiotics are not doing anything so far.

I don't have any hernia lumps.

Cheers

    Stuart,

Could be epididymitis / orchitis . Might be a good idea to ask your doc about getting a urine culture.

Cheers, is that different to the standard urine test?

Done a number of them and even have a kit at home. SG seems to always be high on mine that is it.

Yes, a culture is completely different from a urinalysis. They put the urine in a culture medium and wait several days to see what, if anything grows. That way they know if there is bacteria, what kind, and which antibiotics it is susceptible to. Good luck

Hi Stuart, If the full dose of anti-biotics doesn't work, I would suggest an exam, unfortunately you would need to go in but, it does sound like a possible hernia, they can be different sizes and vary in exact position...if your pain gets really bad or you spike a fever, you shouldn't wait...talk to your DR see what they advise, maybe an anti-inflammatory would work, cant hurt to ask..Good Luck hope its sorted out quickly...BEST WISHES💒🎶🌈🍀☮♾🐾
