hi everyone

looking for bit of advice, i had my 1st steroid injection on 22nd december and for nearly a month things have been going quite well still had bad tinnitus and fullness of the ear but the dizziness was almost non existent unfortunately it came back a few days ago so not sure now if was just through a good period or the injection had worked for a short period my question is is how often should these injections be given as my consultant told me to come back in 6 months and would assess my progress which seemed a long while at the time but now seems forever, it seems to me an injection every 6 months seems a long interval could anyone please give input into how long between injections to be affective, thanks

    Hi Dadlew

Im afraid it's long as a piece of string your question it lasted about 2 months for me but this disease treats everyone differently and their is no set time each injection will last even some people have reported no difference after the injection you need another dose Good luck friend

    Hi Dadlew,

I had four steroid injections one week apart which eventually left me free of menieres attacks for 5 weeks. The attacks started again and I received a further 5 injections again at weekly intervals. These injections made no difference and two Gentamycin injections then worked for me and I have been clear for 8 months.

    We are all different.

    Good luck with it.
