Hi Tristin21, I had 2 nerve block injection in March . To be honest for the first 10 weeks it was like magic.
They are wearing off now and I'm back on Gabbapentine.. it was so nice not to be taking drugs and I suppose it gave
A period of time, for my body to clear my system. As it was explained the injections are not the super golden bullet.
But to me it felt like it at the time. You have nothing to loose by having them. Iam awaiting the NHS to place me back on the pain specialist
List to enable me to hopefully get anot her set of injections. First lot
Where paido for privately.

Norco was prescribed, which really didnt do anything, Oxycodine 5mg works best, just started with a Family Practice Dr. so they are reluctant to give it to me.Ortho Drs did prescribe it tho.
Gabbapentine I heard about bad side effects but I was nver prescribed it so I dont know.
Whereyouafraid the first time you gotthe injections?

Yes, I did try injections for the extreme nerve pain I had in my right hand. For me, these did not work. A couple of years later, I was experiencing more neck sensations and was asked if I wanted to do more shots, I refused that option as my experience wasn't good with it the first time. I hope that you find relief in your journey.

Yes, I've had injections to ease the pain, they last from 2 weeks to 2 months.

I've had 2 injections. Neither worked. From what I've read, spinal stenosis can't be "fixed" by nonsurgical methods. I think surgery is the only long term solution....here's my neck issue
C6-C7: There is disc desiccation and broad-based disc bulge. There are
bilateral uncovertebral joint hypertrophy and moderate neural foraminal
stenosis. Compression on exiting bilateral C7 nerve roots are possible.
C7-T1: Facet joint hypertrophy bilaterally.
