Injury to shin

Please advise - last Sunday I walked into the dishwasher door at force - (power cut) !! Although painful at the time I could weight bear - i assummed I would have a lovely bruise but nothing - it was very tender where I hit it - I went to gp and was advised Ot would be - since then the pain has transferred to my knee and ankle -it feels really tender and aches - should I go back ?

    Did the GP Xray  your leg?  My son is in his 3rd week of a non weight bearing cast.  He twisted his ankle but wrapped it up and continued his job.  He was walking and driving as usual.  The next day on his way into work his leg collapsed and he fell on steps.  GP saw a simple, clean, not displaced break in his fibula.  The fibula carries much less weight than the larger leg bone.  He did have bruising and swelling so maybe you are OK but in my opinion the doctor should have taken an Xray if he did not.  Good luck
