Inner labia fusing?

Posted , 6 users are following.

I think my inner labia is fusing... I have small inner lips so I'm not 100% sure (sounds dumb that I dont know). My left one come all the way up and connects to my clitoral hood and my right one does not. There is a gap there. I dont remember it there before but I can't say for sure as I have never looked for that before. I was diagnosed Dec 9 and had mild symptoms 4 months the now. Can fusing happen even without harsher symptoms/tramadol? I thought skin damage caused the fusing. Could I be getting it this early without strong/many symptoms? If so, what can I do about it? (reversal and prevention)?

Thank you

    Hi Donna,

im with you bottom of my labia I think has fused and half way up labia is thin and white I didn't know this either.  From what I've read the ointment does help but don't know if it de fuses.  All I can say is since ointment my white hasn't spread.  Clitoris was sore which I thought was fungal that's what made me look down there with mirror, mine seems to have come on quick like you.  June it wasn't white.   Same as you I haven't itched just been sore with some tearing.  Apparently the labia goes flat I got told.  We just get on with our lives don't we, I check breasts but not so often down there.  Just want you to feel not alone that's all,  xxx

I too had few symptoms and was unaware of fusing, until GP

examined me but I would recommend using prescribed steroid and

in addition I would try using bicarb spray and coconut oil. I did find

that fusion increased quite quickly, but I recently started using the

coconut oil and spray and I feel that things appear fuller and

healthier after just a few weeks. On the whole now I am happier

that things have settled down, I am just using the steroids

    once a week.

      Hi ann

the bicarbonate spray what is that?  Is it the same as bicarbonate of soda that's for cooking?  Sodium Carbonate?  It seems to have different names.  How much do you put in I to which quality of liquid?  X

Just use a small spray bottle with warm water and gradually add the

bicarb(baking soda) checking that it dissolves before adding

more, then us it to spray after using the toilet and pat dry you

can then use the coconut oil several times a day, both are

soothing and I find that it eases itching.

That is very helpful Ann, thank you. Did you find the spray and oil have helped unfuse at all or even slowed the fusing?

I'm trying to be positive, that even though I'm fusing I'm not really in pain... That has to be worth something I guess...

I feel that the fusing has eased slightly no great change except that

the skin seems to be plumper and healthier.

I was diagnosed couple of years ago, and the fusing happened

quite rapidly over that time, but seems to have improved

      just a little recently.

Hope that you have some success.

Thanks for the recipe with the baking soda and warm water.. I wondered what people meant.  Will try this for sure along with coconut oil
