inoperable gallbladder

Wondered if anyone else out there has been left with an inoperable gallbladder.  ERCPs seem to be only solution offered by NHS.  They also are not in any way forthcoming about prognosis.  I have had stents and a balloon during my 5 ERCPs last year.  Weight has/is a problem.  I do have PCOS and have been told by professional that there is a link to gallbladder.

I have had several ERCPs myself in the past yeaar and half but that is to clean my bile duct from high amount of gallstones.  The gallbladder was taken out 30+ years ago.  No other solution besides ERCP has been identified to date.  I have 2 stents in my bile duct.  Being changed almost every 4 months.  I think it is genetic.  Low fat intake is critical.

Amazed to hear that you are having such problems even after having gall bladder removed.  I thought removal stopped all this.  Specialists are no use at explaining long term diagnosis or 'the full picture' so to speak.

      Thankyou.

Was inoperable.  Found to be hanging over my liver.  Had 5 ERCPs last year.  Also 2 stents and a balloon passed through duct.  Had also been asking about severe food binges I am having and have had in past.[I also have PCOS which can be linked to gallbladder probs.
