Inside of right knee pain!

Posted , 5 users are following.

Been suffering with pain on the inside of my right knee for over a year now. It all started when I had an episode with my bad back so compensated by bending with knees which hurt my right one.

It has gotten worse. I have a strap for it and I put cream on it.

I work and it hurts quite a bit at times. Sometimes in bed it hurts.

No, I have not hone to doctor about it. I dislike my doc. They will probably say rest it. How can I when I need to work?

I think it may be a waste of time getting it xrayed etc. I got full movement in the knee.

Same thing once in each knee years ago when I was playing hockey.  Turned out to be a torn meniscus.  Ain't gonna get better on its own...

Hi Antig, have you tried knees pillows ever? If not, then you can try as I seemed it to be effective.

I can't see pt doing any good myself. Needs x-ray/ MRI I guess.

i had similar symptoms a few years ago, it turned out to be a torn meniscus. Suggest you go to see your doc and be a little more assertive in your discussion and make sure that before you leave the surgery that a appointment with a orthopedic surgeon has been arranged to allow a proper examination of your knee to be carried out. The orthopedic surgeon will determine what further action has to be taken eg  just  knee rest, X-ray or minor surgery etc
