Hi Everyone (old & new!)

Sorry I havent been in touch. I really havent been feeling well especially with my Fibromyalgia and SLEEP! I am currently taking half a sleeping tablet every night.

Last night I didnt take one as I am extra sensitive to becoming addicted and thought I would do half a tablet every other night. What a disaster I must of only reached the REM (Dreaming) stage and spent the whole night there having a nightmare. My hubbie said I was throwing myself around the bed and shouting. He even said I was at the window looking out!

This has really freaked me out and yet again I am in a lot of pain this morning with poor body temperature.

Any words of advice?

Trying to get to sleep when you are overtired is almost an impossibility, even if you don't have ME.

All I manage to do is toss and turn, and keep bashing my pillows back into a comfortable shape (which never works and is exhausting) and then the old bladder gets irritated and I have to keep popping to the loo and then lo and behold, the restless leg syndrome starts which is truly awful :weird: and of course the old brain is working overtime worrying about absolutely everything ........

At one point I was getting restless arms as well which was unbelievable - you just can't keep your limbs still :weird:

And then it's time to get up :wah: I'm just grateful I'm not having to up work, cos it's always worse when you know you've got an alarm clock waiting to go off  because you can bet your bottom dollar you will have been in a blissful sleep for at least half an hour when it does

We've all experienced it and I don't really know what the answer is :?

katie, i get restless leg in my arms too! and sometimes it feels like its in my whole body. it's so nasty.

isn't it odd when you start to realise that CFS sufferers share lots of the same problems? i spoke to a girl who had ME yesterday who mentioned IBS, which is also something I have. And I also remember getting tonsillitus again and again and again when I was a teenager, which again Im finding is really common amongst us.

there has GOT to be a cure out there somewhere - come on scientists!

Yes, it's like lots of little worms (or :spider: Teedie sad ) crawling under the skin ..... it has to be the worst thing ever. I do find that getting up and walking around does help slightly ... if you've got the energy, that is

Yes, the medics keeping on about being on the brink of a diagnostic blood test and then we hear no more :?

I get IBS too ...... BIG TIME ...... but we won't go into that cos everytime I have mentioned it in the past the thread rapidly becomes all rudey dudey

And then Alicia starts a DECORUM IN THE FORUM thread ...... which has about three sensible postings and then that also goes rapidly down the pan ....

It's so annoying you will probably never be able to read our old postings, Trees ...... they would really have cheered you up for starters

    Take care

Hey that's really spooky Alicia :ghost:

I've just been tiddling about in the garden thinking that we hadn't heard from Matron :nurse: for some time.

The last time I heard from her she was still down in the West Country looking at suitable properties for the home ...... she's probably having a bit of a holiday whilst she's down there ........ perhaps she popped in to see Jay ..... poor chap - she'll make sure his caravan is spick and span for sure .... perhaps that's why we've not heard from him

Anyway, hopefully we will hear something from :nurse: Matron soon .... we need to get this home up and running ........:ok:

Re. my sleeping Alicia - yes the magnetic thingy still seems to be working for me ..... I was writing about being overtired .... when absolutely nothing works sad Even sleeping tablets sad

Have you noticed any change :?

    Take care everyone
