Insomnia!!!

Insomnia is literally driving me insane! Third night on the sofa for me this week, simply because I don't want to keep my hubby awake to. The thing is I'll get through tomorrow not a bother, I won't even feel tired! Ive tried everything, lavender, warm milk, no social media or tv. I really dont want to go down sleeping tablet route. Just want a good nights sleep !!!

Gjirlfriend - if you have go go the sleeping pill route, try Ambien for a little while, but don't stay on it because it wont work after awhile and you'll become addicted. I've been on every sleep med you can name, but Seroquel is the best, it has saved me, but it's an anti-psychotic, very heavy. Maybe when I get my hormones more balanced I can get some sleep after 6 years. Im hoping HRT will help me sleep without this.

Try magnesium and calcium at night. I take it before I go to bed. Your frustration is probably heightening your anxiety about sleep. I always read too. It clears my head.

just go on sleeping pills to get your body back on a good schedule thats what i did when i kept waking up at 3.00am . it drove me nuts and went in for a while . i also take medical marijuana . melatonin is good too.

I take magnesium before bed and I have no troubles sleeping. My SIL says that she needs a zanex before bed. Hope you find something--- we need our sleep!

Yes... my mom does this every night after dinner too. She says she has too otherwise her weight creeps up and keeps her from being restless at night.

I have a tried and true method of getting myself to sleep and it doesnt involve meds. No laughing.......i watch Bob Ross painting videos on youtube. That guy has the mellowest voice and such a gentle approach that you cant help but zone out when watching him. You will find yourself fighting to stay awake just to see the finished painting. Better than cannabis ladies!
