Insomnia

Hi I’ve had me for years, and always had insomnia all with it. But lately it’s got worse it’s to the point I don’t sleep untill 5 am I just lay In bed awake, I’ve tried sleep hypnosis apps relaxation techniques. The doc gave me sleeping pills that just don’t work (most meds don’t work on me including strong painkillers) I’m at a loss as to what to do as I have a6 year old and I can barely function during the day anyone else???

Hi there,
We sound similar with sleep issues.
I've ended up taking 100mg Amitriptyline a few hours before bed.
Potassium supplement has also helped also for some time.
When I took sleeping tablets I had to alternate 2 different kinds every 6 or so days.
Hope you find something that makes a difference for you.
