It might be anxiety. I believe you might sleep more than half an hour per night, but you might not see it. Do not worry. You will recover from this cycle. You need to provide more details: are you a smoker? Do you drink alcohol?

Me too, I have ms as well, when I had a relapse and ended in hospital, then my partner left me after 16 years saying he couldn't cope with  the ms and left me homeless, I took an overdose of amtripline and now the doctors wont give me any similar drugs,I do not sleep at all, trying to mix strong painkillers in one dose at night, but that did w ork for a while but left me aggravating the ms,have trawled through internet looking for drugs, and I just don't know what to do,i just wished I hadn't taken an overdose but we cant go  back, also tried natural herbal valerian which makes me sick,so I just don't know where to turn having no sleep makes my ms worse,so maybe going down the herbal route may work for you, but I think my ms is a factor and I don't absorb a lot of things as I have malabsorbtion

Are you sure you have insomnia? As you mentioned in the post from last two month can’t sleep, I suggest you to consult with doctor regarding the symptoms and the problem. Insomnia leads to some other problems such as depression and anxiety so don’t take any risk.
