Hi, umm i don't mean to sound condescending but i think the obvious answer is to stop watching the show you've been watching as it's causing u some anxiety. Never heard of that show though.

I agree with Michelle that programme is definitely playing on your mind and keeping you from sleeping. I dont know the programme but it sounds scary and would keep me awake too. STOP watching it!

I'm with the other two posters in here. Stop watching this programme!

I suspect you're very young - early teens maybe - and at an age where you can still be scared by things like this. I remember going through a terrible period when I was about 13 or 14, when I thought aliens were coming, but I'm happy to say I grew out of it. I'm sure you will too.

Omien. The answer is quite simple stop watching that show & anything else that raises your anxiety. By no means & i a doctor, so definetely not diagnosing but if things like that scare you, then it's possible you may have some anxiety issues. But if you are really young, like lily said, you should grow out of it. But for now, stop watching anything that causes you anxiety!

Well then, the solution is to stop watching/listening to things that scare you, isn't it?

Many young teenagers go through periods of intense anxiety - I know I did - but this is something that will wear off as you grow up. In the meantime, you really do need to stop scaring yourself.

I do know how exciting it can be, and I remember how we all used to talk about these things at school. I still have memories of watching "Quatermass and the Pit" when it was serialised on British TV in 1958(!) and being utterly terrified, even though I was watching it with my parents. (Houses in those days only had one TV, and the internet hadn't been invented.) It was actually very tame compared with the kind of stuff you guys watch these days, of course, but it still scared me to death. All the other girls used to talk about it in school the next day, so I carried on watching because I didn't want to feel left out.

Just cut back on watching or listening to the scary stuff. It isn't real, as I'm sure you know, and it doesn't matter about keeping up with your friends. Some of us are just more nervous than others.
