I too had disturbed sleep for couple of months ! I tried meditation every day followed by yoga.

I got involved in the social voluntarism in may of the social events !The company of other people makes you to forget some time of your depression.

    Hi

Have you tried maybe consulting your GP & find out whether you need sleeping tablets -or just to discuss it with him/her to try & get to the root of the problem

I have also suffered from depression in the past and was on celexa for several years and it kept me on an even keel but I went off it several years ago. I turned to the readings of Eckhart Tolke and found his philosophy of living in the moment and practising mindfulness in everything you do along with remembering to be grateful every day for all that is good in your life keeps me grounded. Good luck with overcoming your depression.

Deep breathing also helps sometimes. 10 deep long breaths. Breath in for count of 5, hold for a count of 5 and breath out for a count of 5. It works for me sometimes. Sometimes Homeopathic rescue remedy helps. Or buy books and read 😃 Online, late night shopping distracted my mind, but didn't induce sleep. Fun but expensive

    Yo

u don't have to buy books, you can borrow them from the library. There are many good books on mindfulness that can be very helpful.

I've never tried tripillene. Hopefully it helps. If i does not seem to help, then consider trying a different one. I tried paxil and it didn't help me, then I TRIED CIpralex and it helped a lot. My family uses doctor prescribed sleeping pills but they mostly just use melatonin. I use melatonin and i don't take the doctor prescribed sleeping pills because i don't have a major sleeping issue. It works really good and can be bought over the counter. It is likely you already know about melatonin though. Good luck.
