Insomnia messes with everything

Hi ladies!
I'm currently going through a jag of terrible insomnia, getting roughly three hours of sleep a night. As a result, it's like my nervous system doesn't get a proper reboot, and my anxiety is worse, cognitive functioning is worse, digestive upsets are worse! Can anybody else relate? Advice?

Relate totally! Its the same with me. Barely get more than 3-4 hours sleep and now with work starting again, I cannot even sleep late. Its horrible and I have no good solution. I don't want to take sleeping tabs, but magnesium oil helps a bit.
Do try magnesium oil (spray form) for topical application. It is helpful after a few days.
Hang in there!

Hi Cindy. Yes , i can relate. hot flashes keep waking me up...I agree the magnesium oil can help. I also found some tart cherry tabs that I think help. You can research it and see what you think. Can you describe the tummy upsets? I am also having issues and wondering if it is all related.

hi! I have been experiencing extreme nausea, abdominal pain, constipation for days, followed by an entire day of feeling sick and having to run to the bathroom. I have developed a lot of food sensitivities that make things worse.

thank you for replying cindy. My pain was so bad last night, I ended up going to urgent care this morning. The hot flashes were relentless...one after the other.

I just lived through this for a week! 2 or maybe 3 hours a night. And we were moving our daughter back to college so I was not able to catch up on any sleep during the day. I started taking CBD gummies for my anxiety a few months ago and it literally did wonders for sleep and my anxiety. I never was a believer in it but a friend told me about it. It takes about a week to start seeing a change.
I was sleeping at least 6-7 hours a night while I was taking it. When we left to move our daughter in I forgot it at home and could not sleep more than 2 or 3 hours. Back on it and sleeping again!!

My suggestions would be:
Magnesium - 250 mg 2 x a day
Lavender aromatherapy
White noise machine by the bed
melatonin - (can be in the form of tart cherry)
Keep your room as cool as possible
