Insomnia problem, please help!

Hi all,

I'm worried about someone I know. This person is an insomniac and has been for quite a while. Though every now and then, this person will get a good nights rest and yet the next morning wake up feeling sick, feeling feverish and having cold shakes. I'm so worried. This individual is also a smoker but slowly quitting. Could it be possible this is a virus or something?

Thank you x

They should se a Dr. Probably their bodies not used to so much sleep in one day, I don't know. When I get sleep I often feel rubbish too, bit shaky and such. Just did a long strech of sleep, about nine hours woke up feeling god awful went back to sleep for four hors and now here I am unable to sleep and exhausted and feeling rough. I'm heading to Drs tomorrow. Nick.

    Hi Tanyz1

If your worried about them I would say they are worried about it too. I would advise them to go see a Doctor just to be sure, as it could be any number of things. I have read that withdrawing from nicotine can cause sleep problems but quitting smoking is better for a persons health in the long run.
