instant sleep!!! iss it down to c/s???

Hi All,
I have raised this question before but am getting more concerned now.
I have had c/s at levels C4,5,6 and 7 for 5 years now. It is progressively getting worse. Instant sleep- I sleep between 6 to 8 hours on average each night, sometimes solid, thanks to my meds, sometimes not. However over the last 10 to 12 weeks something weird is happening. I suddenly fall asleep. Not a few winks but solid sleep, instantly. So I get up , walk around and pick up my laptop and go to my Emails or whatever and sit down to read, only I instantly fall asleep again, wake up looking at my laptop, tell myself to "buck up" and fall back into a sleep. If I sit down to watch t.v. with my wife we will be watching something, chatting about it and suddenly I am asleep again. Could it be that the osteophytes at levels C6 and C7 which are pushing into my spinal cord are progressing to the point that my brain is becoming starved of oxygen???

I strongly suggest you get a bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide, H2o2, yes I know it is well know as hair bleach. You can get either 3 or 6 vol that says mouthwash on the bottle... It is water H2o with an extra molecule, the extra is oxygen... You should be able to find it on line or in a major branch of Boots...
There are loads of videos you can find that will tell you how to use it to oxygenate your body... You choose... Just make sure you dilute it before you ingest it in any way... I have mine in an old nasal spray bottle... I just squirt it to the back of my mouth and breathe in sharply at the same time...
Hope you feel better very soon...

I am exactly the same. I have just been in contact with my GP. I am constantly, I don't know if it is sleep or if it is a mini blackout.
I am petrified. I have just been fitted with a hard collar, and don't know if it is helping or not.
I have an appt with my GP tonight, but if I go any worse, take my self to A and E.
The 3 discs at the bottom of my neck have crumbled, and fused together. So now when I look down, my neck is moving forward from discs higher up. This causes a lot of pain, but I am so scared as there is a lot of pressure on my spinal cord.

As I understand it, the pressure on the arteries to the brain can reduce the bloodflow
until you either go lightheaded or pass out, I can occasionally feel a bit light headed with my head held in the wrong position. Sounds like you need to get back to a doctor and see a specialist, don't take no for an answer. You might also be legally obliged to contact the DVLA . if you drive
