    Hello everyone,

i saw my gynecolist last week expecting to get her to confirm lichen planus. After examination she said it was not lichen planus but atrophic vaginitis (another one i had no idea what it was) but that she was not 100% sure, so she gave me Estrace cream, which is progesterone, to insert inside and apply around for 2 weeks and gradually after for another 2 wks.  Well, i went along with her diagnosis but i think she is wrong, however, after reading side effects I decided to use the cream around the area only.  We'll see how this work in a few weeks..at this point, i am far more concerned with my OLP, wish that it would just go away..😤

I went through 3 gynocologists before I was able to find one who knew what was going on..  My first one said it was normal... my second one did a biopsy and said oops... biopsied the wrong lplace.  third one said... yep something is wrong... finally, 4th one knew exactly what it was and how to treat it and is amazing!!!  Don't just believe one doctor when you know otherwise!
