Interesting new study results on estrogen (estradiol) on allergies

a new study on mice (poor mice) compared male and female and found that when they blocked estradiol in females allergies vanished but when they injected them with estrogen allergies reappeared, explains what i already thought, ive never had an allergy in my life until this x

    Yes, you are so right. I am totally intolerant to systemic HRT. Every time I've tried to use HRT, my mild asthma plays up, and my chest gets tighter and tighter, and have to stop it, even though I've suffered the worst mental health symptoms for 5 years so far, since my hysterectomy. Apparently, research says that female hormones play a detrimental role in asthma, whereby male hormones seem to have the opposite effect.

      so sorry to hear that margaret, whenever ive suffered anxiety/depression in the past ive been able to exercise it off, i cant do that anymore as i itch and get chest pain/shortness of breath, also now have severe food allergies x
