Intermittent pain?

Hi all.

Has anyone been diagnosed with fibromyalgia who doesn't have constant aching muscles and joints?

My pain (before gabapentin) was a shooting, shocking, burning deep ache which would come on suddenly anywhere in my body - legs, feet, toes, hands, fingers, arms, back, sides, etc.

for me the sudden crashing fatigue episodes are now the worst thing but they're short lived which I'm grateful for.

two years ago a GP specialist rheumatologist said I have CFS/fibromyalgia but I'm thinking really is it just fibro? or is the type of pain I have not right for a fibro diagnosis?

Hi. Ive been going back and forward to docs and they think i have fibro too, just waiting on the diagnosis really but i was thinking the same. I get the pain etc but its not that that bothers the most its the fatigue thats gets me right down and im exhausted. Also my level of pain is mostly managable but is painful, mostly aching. I just wonder if its something else sometimes too!
